Oh man I remember short stay efficiencies like that place when traveling. They all look the same in Berlin, Amsterdam… When you get down to Paris you get cooler old digs. But hey, they work better than hotels and they leave you tf alone. Cheers man. Have fun on tour.

Reminder me of Karl Wallinger from the Ship of Fools video clip. Do not like the lyrics at all. My 28 year old son died last year from suicide and I have spent a great deal thinking about death and I never thought about whether you can still get off your chops in the after life if it even exists. But if you want to find out then just keep getting on in this realm and it won't take long to find out. When you're dead you're dead forever. Fucking drug use contributed to my son's suicide so glamourising drug use and suggesting getting high is something desirable after carking it is just fucking immature. It's a disgusting concept and the song is entertaining but glorifying death and substance abuse. I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic and life is shit being high let alone death. Coming down off a high definitely is directly responsible for a great majority of suicides and attempts. I just wonder if my boy would still be here if it wasn't for his substance abuse. And as an add on this is how sick of an addict I am. A few days later after my son hung himself a parcel of dexamphetamines arrived in the mail for my son at his dad's house. I said to ny ex husband that I will take those, he threw them away despite my request. My remaining children were shocked that I even thought that he would give them to me. I was shocked at how shocked my daughter's were at me for requesting them. And that's also how i know that my son's suicide was just spontaneous, no one plans on killing themselves when ordering their drug of choice on the dark web. Immature lyrics passed off as serious music. "Ship of fools" lyrics fittingly begin with "We're setting sail to a place on the map from which no one has ever returned…"

It's interesting that you say lil Y's got a great voice, twice (after stating that he was using a lot of AUTOTUNE…?). Then you struggled, twice, to hit the note that Yungblud did. "Very Radiohead"…..hmmmm I don't know whether I agree with that, but I think that he would take it as a compliment. I must say that you are very "Ratt", or is that "Cinderella"? … I don't know, but at least I've heard of the names of THEIR bands. You seem to really have it in for Yungblud, as I see other videos listed of you taking shots at him. Strange. Bully much? Well you are entitled to your opinion. This was mine.

PS: you should hear Yungblud sing this live. It's better when it's just him.

There is also a bit of 60's nostalgia in this song as well. Synths after Yungbluds finishes singing (before Lil Yachty starts) are reminiscent of strings/synths in The Moody Blues 1968 song "Legend of a Mind", which is about LSD man Timothy Leery (a clinical psychologist at Harvard who researched, experimented and advocated for psychedelic drugs). In the middle is a slowed down (due to slower tempo) of the "na na-na na" which is reminiscent of Deep Purple's 1968 song "Hush". To me the psychedelic nature of this song is why the vocals have the vocoding and auto-tune effects. In my mind the song shows influences from the 60's, and also the 90's as mentioned in this video, but interpreted & presented in 21st century 2020's vibes. I don't mind when a song is expressed in the modern day from some influences that stretch back 30-60 years. And besides the melody is awesome.

I love seeing an amazing musician geek out to other musicians who they admire … awesome format … I thought I could imitate voices and do impressions but holy shit brother you could have done SNL as a writer , actor and the musical act

It's like a mix between Oasis and a down-beat If You Tolerate This by the Manics and a third tune I can't put my finger on. A little too derivative for my taste. But see the appeal if you're too young to remember the tunes that it lifts so heavily from though.
